A downloadable poem

A while back, my friend Anna approached me with an offer of a collaboration. Anna is a professional musician, and a flute player, and was putting together a concert using Georg Philipp Telemann's flute fantasia.
I of course was excited to be a part of it. The offer was to pick any one of the pieces in the fantasia and to add to it artistically, in some form - whether that be with sound or visuals, or otherwise.

This is the part of the concert that I ended up working on.

I'm not sure that my poetry is necessarily the most polished thing I've ever made (currently that honor goes to my art), but it's certainly one of the more personal.

Telemann's second piece in the flute fantasia immediately reminded me of the  echoing calm and claustrophobic chaos of the NYC subway.
Thank you for taking the time to watch.
