Making the Rules

This game is explicitly meant to be a re-skin of the Settlers of Catan, a popular board game. I have vehemently disliked Catan for a number of years, and this project was a way of trying to make it better with as few changes to the actual rules as possible. 
The nice thing about this is that, by changing the aesthetics, you can handily remove all of the inherent praise of settler-colonialism that is built into the original game.

And, of course, I made it queer. I had to make it queer.

This is version 1 of the rules. I may change some additional things later on, but, as previously mentioned, I have challenged myself to change as few rules as possible. The next step of this project is asset production!
